Noni Madueke has ruled out a loan spell away from Chelsea next season.
The 21-year-old winger endured a difficult first few months at Stamford Bridge following his £30.5million January move from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
But Madueke came into favour during Frank Lampard’s stint as caretaker manager towards the end of the season, and the England Under-21 international says leaving Chelsea on loan next season is simply not an option.
“A loan spell would be impossible for both parties”, he told Standard Sport. “I’ve been brought in and there’s a plan for me at the club. I finished the season well, so next season is just about kicking on in the team and showing everyone the real me.”

Madueke made 12 Premier League appearances for Chelsea this term, and scored his first goal for the Blues in May’s 3-1 defeat by Arsenal.
He insisted: “The expectation for me from the club and myself is for me to play — and play well — next year, and to keep developing as a player and a person.”
After spending time at the Crystal Palace and Tottenham academies, Madueke signed for PSV in 2018, going on to score 20 goals and produce 14 assists in 80 matches for the Eindhoven club.
