Noel Gallagher has admitted he was shocked at the chaos fans endured while trying to buy tickets to the Oasis Live ‘25 reunion tour.
Millions of fans were left stunned as standard tickets more than doubled from £148 to £355 on Ticketmaster in September, prompting the government to vow to look into the use of dynamic pricing.
Others were left angry and disappointed after being left empty-handed, having waited in an online queue for hours to buy tickets.
Gallagher addressed the backlash for the first time while chatting to photographer Kevin Cummins for his new book Oasis: The Masterplan.
"I thought it'd be a big deal, but I was a bit taken aback by just how much of a big deal it was,” he confessed.
He was also asked to name his favourite Oasis song and said: "Can I have more than one? Supersonic, Some might say, Live Forever and Rock 'n' Roll Star."

The admission has led to speculation the hits are certain to be on the setlist for the reunion tour.
When quizzed on the best live act he has ever seen, the guitarist said: “The best doesn't exist. Live things that have stayed with me down the years are: U2, Paul Weller, Neil Young Goldie, Ennio Morricone, The Strokes, Young Fathers and countless others too."
Cummins' 256-page book contains photographs of the band over twelve months in 1994.
Noel and his brother Liam sent fans into a frenzy last year when they announced the Oasis reunion world tour.
The siblings confirmed in August that they have put their differences aside and will take the stage together later this year.
The tour kicks off on July 4 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, followed by five nights at Manchester’s Heaton Park and eight at Wembley Stadium in London.
The Don’t Look Back In Anger hitmakers are set to perform a number of gigs in the UK, Ireland, Australia, the US, and Mexico.
The full band line-up will be Joey Waronker on drums and Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, Gem Archer, and Andy Bell on guitars, NME reported earlier this month.
Liam urged the publication to reveal their sources after the line-up was leaked.
“NME tell me who your source pots are that keep giving you info about OASIS and I’ll give you an exclusive interview about up n coming OASIS tour you can have it all but how much do you want it,” he posted on X.
