Oasis star Noel Gallagher was left covered in blood after being headbutted by Man City's Rúben Dias' dad following Premier League title celebrations on Sunday.
The singer, 54, has revealed he required stitches after the match against Aston Villa at The Etihad stadium in Manchester.
Fans across Manchester were celebrating after their club's epic 2-0 win at the weekend.
Noel, a well known Man City fan, found his happiness being knocked a bit when he collided with the players' father.
Lifting the lid on the accident, Noel told talkSPORT Breakfast on Monday that an ambulance was called for him after he was headbutted by Dias' father.
"Let me tell you what happened to me yesterday. So as the third goal goes in, right, there is absolute bedlam," he told talkSPORT.
"As you can imagine, in the stadium where we sit, Reuben Diaz's family are in the box, a couple of boxes up.
"So I'm jumping around like an idiot, passing my 11-year-old son around like the Premier League trophy, everyone is lifting him up, and I turn around and Rúben Dias' dad runs straight into me, head butts me while I'm on the floor covered in blood."
Noel admitted that he missed out on the last couple of minutes of the big game after being headbutted as an ambulance was called before he had to have stitches put into his upper lip.
"I don't see the last 2 minutes I've got to get taken down by the St John Ambulance and had to get stitched up," Noel said.
"I've got stitches in my top lip, I've got two black eyes as I'm going down the corridor Pep's running up crying and we kind of hug each other and he says 'what's up with your face?' And I was like, 'go see the players, nothing to do with me'.
"And if you've seen me today, I look like I've just arrived home from the eighties, from Elland Road. I look like I've had my head smashed in. It's unbelievable.
"A lot of City fans are asking, 'You alright? What's happened?' and I said - you'll never guess."
Lifting the lid on Dias' dad after the headbutt, Noel admitted that he was left without any marks or bruises.
"Not a mark on him. He's a big bear of a man - he almost knocked my teeth out. But as days go at The Etihad that's got to be up there with the best."
Noel Gallagher was speaking to talkSPORT Breakfast with Laura Woods, Ally McCoist and Jamie O'Hara.
