Nobody Stops Batman Riding a Motorcycle on Halloween, Unless He’s in China

Imagine this: it's Halloween, and you're on your merry way to a party when—backed by the soundtrack of a motorcycle—you see the most realistic-looking Batman you've ever seen. Well, if you were in Wuhan, Hubei, China this past spooky season you wouldn't have to imagine anything because it'd be right in front of you.

Well, more specifically, on October 31st, the night before Halloween, a man rode down the streets of Wuhan dressed as Batman. The rider didn't half-ass it either, he had all the gear including a cape and a helmet. While I appreciate the effort he put into his costume, it seems as though the local traffic police didn't.

Apparently, "Batman" was long on the road before he was stopped by police who cited potential safety risks as the reason for pulling him over. They said the outfit could impede the rider's vision and judgment while driving. Now, the vision part I understand, but impairing his judgment—that, I don't get. What did the authorities think? That he would actually think he was Batman and go full vigilante?

Honestly, watching his cape hover around the rear wheel was by far my biggest concern and probably an accident waiting to happen. So, while I hate to be a party pooper, it seems like putting an end to the fun was the right call.

It appears as though after the police pulled over our would-be Batman, he was escorted off his bike and to the police station. Who'd have thought that after all the years of evading capture, it'd be a trip to China that would bring down the big man? Would they have caught him if he was on the Batcycle, we'll never know, but you can check out the video here.

What's the best motorcycle-related Halloween outfit you've ever seen up close? Let us know in the comments.
