Olympic sprinting champion Noah Lyles has set his sights on a new challenge following his victory in the 60-meter race at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston. Lyles, who clinched the gold medal in the 100-meter event in Paris, made a bold statement by displaying a message on his bib that read: 'Tyreek Could Never.'

The target of Lyles' challenge is none other than Tyreek Hill, a standout wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins who boasts an impressive track record from his high school days, where he secured two Georgia state track championships. Hill had previously expressed confidence in his speed by suggesting that he could defeat Lyles in a race during a podcast appearance in August.

Responding to Hill's claim, Lyles wasted no time in accepting the challenge, declaring his readiness to face off against the NFL star. In a post-race interview with NBC, Lyles confidently stated, 'When you’re ready to actually put some words down and you’re actually ready to race, see me. I’m right here. I ain’t going nowhere. But all I know is, your football season’s over. You ain’t got no excuse now.'

Hill, upon hearing Lyles' acceptance, offered a brief response, saying, 'Get a load of this guy.'

The potential showdown between Lyles and Hill has generated significant buzz among sports fans, with many eagerly anticipating the prospect of witnessing a clash between two elite athletes from different disciplines. As the challenge unfolds, the sports world will be watching closely to see if this friendly rivalry materializes into a thrilling competition on the track.
