'No words left' - Manchester United fans want the season to end after dire Everton defeat

Manchester United fans are ready to throw in the towel after watching Everton win 1-0 at Goodison Park on Saturday.

The Reds' ever-fading top-four hopes now look all but extinguished after Anthony Gordon's deflected effort in the first half was enough to seal all three points against the hapless visitors. Form under Ralf Rangnick continues to go from bad to worse with Saturday reverse United's third in five games.

Tottenham and Arsenal are now firmly in control of their own top-four fates, while United's season hopes look all but over. Fans are now calling on the club to "play the kids" as they navigate the final seven fixtures of the league campaign.

Next up for United is relegation-threatened Norwich. Rangnick then faces back-to-back away games against Liverpool and Arsenal.
