Frank McAvennie insists not ONE Rangers player would make it into the Celtic starting team.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is under huge pressure after a string of poor results and performances has left his Light Blues side trailing Ange Postecoglou's champions by nine points at the top of the Premiership going into the World Cup shutdown. The Ibrox men shared the spoils with St Mirren last time out while they've also drawn with Livingston and lost at St Johnstone in recent weeks.
The Rangers team and management have come under-fire this season with displays not meeting the high standards expected from the supporters. The Champions League campaign ended with the unwanted tag as the 'worst ever' group stage side after six defeats from six and a -20 goal difference.

Celtic hero Macca has no sympathy for the recent run stating that it is the own fault of the players and reckons they are not working hard enough, doing the basics properly and helping each other out when it matters most. He believes on current form NONE of Van Bronckhorst's troops would get near the starting XI across the city.
He said: “I don’t think any of the Rangers players would get into the current Celtic team.
“I hate kicking people when they are down and they have been having a terrible time of it, but it’s their own fault.
“They’re not doing the basics. They’re not helping each other or working hard enough.
“Just because you’re having a bad game doesn’t mean you can’t put a shift in. You can still help your team.
“The ball might be bouncing off you and you might be missing sitters, but you can still make a contribution.
“I don’t see anyone in their side doing that.”
