No pay rise for Roy Keane next season as part of ITV coverage

Roy Keane and other top TV pundits will not be receiving a pay rise, according to reports.

The Sun are reporting that top pundits at BBC and ITY will not be receiving pay rises next year as the two stations have adopted salary caps.

Roy Keane will be one of the people hit with the salary cap as he works with ITV and was a regular for their World Cup coverage.

Ian Wright is another top name with the Arsenal legend working on Match of the Day.

The football punditry landscape has changed in recent years with the likes of long time pundits Phil Thompson, Matt LeTissier and Charlie Nicholas departing Sky.

Popular show Soccer AM has also announced it will come to an end after 30 years.
