Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui has said he will speak “no more” about the controversial match with Liverpool, but has confirmed the club have written to the FA.
The Reds were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw with Wolves in their FA Cup third round tie at Anfield at the weekend. However, a third goal was scored by the visitors in the closing stages, only to be ruled out for offside.
The goal was checked by VAR and it was later revealed after the match that the goal could not be awarded due to a lack of available camera angles at Anfield. It was reported on Tuesday that Wolves would write to the PGMOL, the governing body accountable for officials in England, and their chief Howard Webb about the decision.

Now Lopetegui has spoken again about the incident, and confirmed that Wolves have been in contact with the FA about the disallowed goal.
“I have seen the image and I have my opinion,” said Lopetegui in his press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
“We have sent to the FA our comments and we are waiting for an explanation.
He added: "This is all, no more about Liverpool. I have talked [about it] after the match and now we have sent our comments, because it’s very clear that something has happened, and no more.”
