Trent Alexander-Arnold admits Liverpool will almost certainly have to overcome a potential Champions League winner in the quarter-final no matter who they are drawn against.
The Reds secured their place in the last eight by beating Inter Milan 2-1 on aggregate despite losing for the first time in 2022 with a 1-0 round of 16 second leg reverse at Anfield on Tuesday.
Jurgen Klopp's side will discover their pathway to the final when the draws for the quarter-finals and semi-finals takes place in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday week.

And asked if it could be the toughest group of teams to reach the latter stages, Alexander-Arnold said: "Yes, I think that's what we expect. Going into this competition, you look at four, five or six teams that can win it.
"And the further you get into it, by the last eight that's when you get down to the most elite teams. There are no lucky teams in there anymore, you are down to the ones who have earned it.
"These are the ones who can probably win it from this point. We are all looking forward to the draw so hopefully we can see it through."
Alexander-Arnold added: "We are in an amazing position of being able to get our hands on the first trophy of the season and be in a strong position in the other three competitions.
"Two exciting quarter-finals to look forward to and a cup final every weekend in the league. It's exciting times to be at the club, and hopefully if everybody stays fit we will be able to see it through."
Liverpool, who hit the woodwork three times on Tuesday, went behind to Lautaro Martinez's fine strike shortly after the hour.

However, Inter's cause was damaged barely a minute later when former Manchester United and Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez was dismissed for a second bookable offence.
And, speaking to LFC TV, Alexander-Arnold added: "It was disappointing not to get the win but all that mattered to us was getting through to the next round. It's important for us as a club and important for us as a team and the fans.
"Inter had to come out a bit more being 2-0 down. We expected them to come out and attack us more, and that's what we prepared for.
"As time went on, we had chances to score goals. We didn't take them but we limited them to only the one goal. Goals changes games and if we had scored in the first half it would have put the game to bed. We weren't able to do that.
"Them going down to 10 men helped us see the game out and they didn't have much threat after that. It wasn't comfortable, but we were able to see it out."
