No love lost between Marcus Peters, Bengals after brutal playoff encounter

Cincinnati Bengals players accused the Baltimore Ravens and players such as Marcus Peters of cheap actions in Week 18 before the playoff encounter, one the Bengals ended up winning 24-17.

Exiting the game, it’s hard not to point to a few instances of what the Bengals might’ve been talking about, too.

Peters fell under the spotlight early and remained there due to repeated aggressiveness and jawing after plays ended.

One such example got Peters flagged. After a Joe Mixon rush, Peters held him down and was jawing at his face. Other angles captured on social media showcased Peters appearing to throw a punch, which had officials seen it, would’ve likely been an automatic ejection, via Josh Kirkendall:

Ja’Marr Chase’s non-comment about Peters after the game pretty much summed up the locker room’s feelings about the whole ordeal, as noted by Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic:

Tack on another brief postgame handshake between Zac Taylor and John Harbaugh and it’s clear this rivalry isn’t cooling off anytime soon.
