Arsenal secured a vital three points during Saturday afternoon's Premier League clash against Leicester City.
Gabriel Martinelli netted the only goal of the game, breaking the deadlock just after half-time to clinch all three points for his side, who remain two points clear at the top of the table. The Gunners did see two other finishes disallowed, with Leandro Trossard's first-half strike chalked off by VAR after Ben White was adjudged to have fouled Leicester goalkeeper Danny Ward.
Martinelli also set up fellow young attacker Bukayo Saka to double the north Londoners' advantage after the break but the Brazilian was marginally offside, setting up a nervy finish at the King Power Stadium. Mikel Arteta's side were ultimately able to come away with all three points and football.london has brought you everything the national media said about the game below.

The article from the Mirror pointed out that it wasn't a vintage display by Arteta's men but it was an effective one. The Gunners had the lion's share of the possession and made their dominance pay in the end.
Their post-match piece read: "While it wasn't a trademark blistering start from the visitors, Arsenal dominated possession in the opening exchanges. The Gunners thought they had opened the scoring when Leandro Trossard fired home a stunner, but VAR intervened to chalk it off after a foul on Danny Ward in the build-up."
The Telegraph's headline claimed that Arsenal were "no longer a soft touch" after the Gunners registered their eighth away clean sheet in the league this term, by far and away the best in the English top-flight. They wrote: "A soft touch, no more.
"As a rainbow appeared over the away end, the chants of “we are top of the league” filled the air and may well remain the soundtrack for the final 14 games of the season."
The Guardian made sure to point out that Arsenal were unlucky to not be awarded a penalty in the first-half after Saka was brought down by Harry Soutar in the box. "Souttar’s hauling-down of Saka as the pair contested a White cross shortly afterwards seemed clearer cut but nothing was awarded or retrospectively checked."
The north London outfit have received just two spot-kicks in the league this term.
