Eddie Howe hopes that the sense of the big occasion can "galvanise" his Newcastle United players on Sunday against Tottenham Hotspur.
Howe has told his team to play with "no fear" in the sold out clash at St James' Park as a season's work lies on the line in the Champions League battle against faltering Spurs. Looking ahead to the game, Howe has been eager for big days like this in the Toon dugout.
Looking ahead to Sunday, Howe said: "It’s what we crave as professionals. You want the big games, you want the big occasions and you want it to mean something. We’re determined to express ourselves in the best way possible.

"We want the occasion to galvanise us, we don’t want to play with any fear or restraints and we want to give the best us."
When asked if the game was the biggest of the season so far, Howe reflected: "I wouldn’t have an issue with anyone saying that. I think it is. It's a cliche but it's our next game. It's what's ahead of us that's important.
"We have risen to these types of games this season. Hopefully, we can find another gear again."
