No experience required for jobs at two of Liverpool's most iconic buildings

Job seekers looking for either full or part time work are in luck as just over a dozen positions are now available in two of Liverpool's most iconic buildings.

National Museums Liverpool (NML), who run seven of Liverpool's most lauded museums and galleries, including the International Slavery Museum, are advertising for multiple positions throughout their remit. These positions include 13 retail sales assistant positions going at the World Museum and the Walker Art Gallery, as well as over a dozen other jobs..

Applicants are not required to have any previous similar experience, but if successful will be working in the beautiful expanses of the 19th century buildings providing the highest level of customer service. No formal experience is required, though they do ask for a familiarity with working towards set goals and good initiative in decision making.

The successful applicants will be paid £10 an hour according to Glassdoor, and will work on a fixed contract of which there are many to apply for. Thirteen retail assistant roles are available, with nine at the World Museum and the remaining four at the Walker art gallery, varying the expected hours.

The job advert said that successful applicants will also have access to other benefits including high-street discounts, retail discounts, an eyecare scheme. There is also an employee recognition scheme that will reward particularly outstanding employees.

The deadline to apply for these positions is Thursday 28 April.

For those looking for a position with more responsibility, NML is also hiring for over a dozen other vacancies, including an exhibitions officer position that pays £25,000 (deadline 28 April) and a Project Curator, which pays over £30,000 (Deadline 12 May). However, these positions do require a little more experience.
