No diversion warning for motorists ahead of five-day road closure in Coatbridge

Monklands motorists are warned in advance there won't be any diversions available during a five-day road closure in Coatbridge next month.

Carriageway resurfacing will see Cairnhill Crescent, from Carnbroe Road to its termination, shut for five days from Monday, October 3.

Despite the lack of diversions, driver access to the road will “be maintained where practical”.

Meanwhile, Clement Drive in Airdrie will be shut from 9.30am to 6pm on October 7 for manhole works by Scottish Water.

The closure will run between Cargill Place and Cranston Avenue and there will be no alternative routes in place for motorists.
