A police source has said that no criminality has been established after a young man was found injured in the street near an East Kilbride store on Friday evening.
Lanarkshire Live told how cops cordoned off an area outside the Premier shop on Melbourne Avenue at around 5.40pm on March 25 after reports of a "slashing" incident.
Several police cars and an ambulance were pictured at the scene which was sealed off while investigations were carried out.
Eye witnesses claimed officers were searching bins at the back of the shop suggesting they were looking for a weapon.
