Recent investigations have revealed that there is no evidence linking the Bourbon Street terror attack in New Orleans and the Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas, despite the fact that the suspects involved had a shared military background.
The shooting suspect, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, and the explosion suspect, Matthew Livelsberger, both served in the U.S. Army. However, a U.S. defense official has stated that there is no indication from their military service that these two incidents are related.
Although both Jabbar and Livelsberger were stationed at Fort Liberty (formerly known as Fort Bragg), it has been clarified that there was no overlap in their assignments at the base. They served at different times, and it is important to note that Fort Liberty currently houses over 50,000 U.S. service members.
An update provided by the FBI on the Bourbon Street attack investigation revealed that investigators now believe Jabbar acted alone in the terror attack, which resulted in the tragic loss of 14 lives and left 35 others injured.
