Michigan State hockey is a force to be reckoned with under new head coach Adam Nightingale. The No. 8 ranked Spartans picked up another huge win on Friday night, taking down No. 20 Penn State 5-0 on the road.
The story of the night was the stellar play of goalie Trey Augustine, who had a 31-save shutout. Joey Larson also added two goals.
MSU will get a chance to complete the sweep tomorrow night.
