Rangers' director of football recruitment Nils Koppen has outlined his position on a potential Jefte transfer amid links to Chelsea.
It is understood the Premier League outfit have made initial contact with the left-back’s representatives over a possible move at the end of the season.
With the Ibrox board bracing themselves for summer interest in their Brazilian star, the club’s director of recruitment revealed his stance on the matter some months ago.

In an interview with the Rangers Review in October, Koppen said: “If we have a player like Jefte who is doing well and the right offer comes in, we should sell him and be brave enough to say that we can find the next one.”
Jefte moved to Glasgow from Fluminense last May following an impressive loan spell in Cyprus with APOEL.
He has established himself as a vital player in Philippe Clement's side this season thanks to a series of impressive displays both domestically and in the Europa League.
While Chelsea currently lead the race to sign the 21-year-old, it is understood that Rangers are also aware of interest from a handful of clubs on the continent.
