Nikola Jokic was visibly upset and uncharacteristically fired up during a Game 5 timeout

Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic is usually fairly calm, cool and collected during even the most important games of his career.

But during Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat on Monday night, the big man was clearly fired up and angry about something while sitting on the bench during a timeout.

The broadcast showed Jokic as animated as you will ever see the Serbian-born, two-time NBA MVP. With just one more one win needed to clinch the Larry O’Brien Trophy, you can imagine why emotions may be running a bit higher than usual at Ball Arena in Denver.

Maybe this is exactly the type of rallying cry the Nuggets need for a strong fourth quarter to defeat the Heat and take home their first championship in franchise history.

Perhaps it was exactly what his teammates needed to hear at that moment.
