Nikola Jokic was comically sidetracked during an interview because he saw two fans kissing

Denver Nuggets superstar big man Nikola Jokic had just recorded his 15th triple-double of the season when something caught his attention.

Jokic was discussing how much effort it requires to win while on the road in the NBA. Jokic, whose Nuggets just defeated the Pelicans in New Orleans, was also getting accustomed to the sights and sounds of the Smoothie King Center.

The big man was in the midst of a sentence when he looked up and saw two fans smooching in the crowd. The back-to-back MVP couldn’t help but bring it up to Nuggets reporter Katy Winge.

Jokic said that these two fans were “enjoying life” and then let out a sly grin.

Winge said she is “often surprised” during interviews with Jokic (remember when he randomly said he went to Harvard, even though he did not?) but that this was a new experience for her.

Jokic is in the midst of an absolutely incredible season and the star is nearly averaging a triple-double during each game he has played. Denver is winning more games than ever, too, as the Nuggets have the second-best record in the NBA.

But aside from the success on the court, he also continues to delight with wholesome moments like what he showed during his post-game interview with Winge.
