The Nuggets have taken care of business in each of the first three games of the Western Conference finals, jumping out to a 3–0 lead in the series against the Lakers.
Despite their encouraging position, sitting just one win away from an NBA Finals berth, Nikola Jokić isn’t looking past Monday’s game. Needing a win in Los Angeles to close out the series, Jokić admitted he’s still worried about the task at hand.
“To be honest, I’m not going to say that I’m scared. But I’m worried because they have LeBron James on the other side, and he’s capable of doing anything,” explained Jokić.

While no team in NBA history has overcome a 3–0 deficit in the playoffs, Denver’s star center isn’t willing to count out James and company just yet. Game 4 is slated for Monday, at which point the Lakers will fight to keep their season alive on their home court.
