Nikola Jokić’s Half-Court Buzzer Beater Sinks Warriors, Leaves NBA Fans in Disbelief

The Denver Nuggets capped off a stunning comeback victory over the Golden State Warriors with a miracle game-winning three-pointer courtesy of reigning NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokić.

After the Nuggets’ defense showed up in a big way during crunch time, Denver got the ball with less than four seconds left in a tie game.

The inbound pass went to Jokić, who attempted a circus shot from way beyond the arc, 39-feet from the basket. The bank was open for the 28-year-old, who buried the Warriors with his game-winner off the backboard, closing the curtain on an improbable 130–127 win.

Jokić raced down the court with his arms in the air and was swarmed by his teammates as they celebrated the surreal moment.

Denver entered the fourth quarter trailing by 13, but after their defense rose to the occasion late, Jokić’s buzzer beater silenced the Chase Center.

Stephen Curry’s face in the aftermath said it all for Golden State, as the star point guard looked on in disbelief. Fans on social media were equally stunned, as Jokić’s sensational shot left the NBA world stunned.
