Deion Sanders and Colorado football are the hottest topics on the college football landscape this season. While the Buffaloes have suffered losses in back-to-back weeks, the Pro Football Hall of Famer remains a marquee storyline due to constant media exposure as well as high-profile celebrities attending games in Boulder.
While Sanders’s personality and football program have captivated the nation’s attention, it has not entirely captured the state of Colorado. During the Nuggets' media day on Monday, Jamal Murray shared that some of his teammates went to Folsom Field on Saturday for the Colorado-USC game.
When reporters asked Nikola Jokić if he knew much about the Buffaloes’ coach, the two-time MVP shook his head and said “No” in the most Jokić type of way. It is not shocking that Jokić isn’t familiar with Sanders. The 28-year-old is not on social media and it is possible that he is not knowledgeable about other sports like he is about basketball.

However, knowing how outgoing Sanders's personality is, it would not come as a surprise if the Buffaloes’ coach personally reached out to set up a meeting with the Serbian center to get to know him or to invite him to a game during the remaining portion of this season.
