Coronation Street fans did a double take earlier this week as two old faces popped up on their favourite street.
Nikki Sanderson returned as Candice Stowe after 14 years, while Tracy Shaw, aka Maxine Peacock, stepped back onto the famous cobbles for the first time since 2003.
Sadly this doesn't signal a permanent return - they appeared on a TV special to celebrate their former co-star Sue Nicholls' 40 year milestone as Audrey Roberts.
The episode, which aired on Monday night, looked back on Sue’s time in Weatherfield and saw the soap veteran get a visit from her former on-screen employees.
As Sue, 75, stood outside Audrey’s salon, Nikki, 35, and 46-year-old Tracy were hiding inside and jumped out to surprise her.
Sue squealed with delight as she was reunited with her former co-stars before giving them a big hug.
Through tears of joy, she said: "Oh my god, oh my god, I was just about to mention you.
“Oh, I'm going to cry, it's too much."
Fans of Corrie will remember that during Candice's time on the soap, she was involved in a number of failed love storylines, including when she slept with her boyfriend Todd Grimshaw’s older brother Jason.
She had her heart broken by promising footballer Warren Baldwin when he left Weatherfield to play for a Spanish team.
Candice also dated Adam Barlow but she cut that short when Status Quo offered her a job as a stylist and dumped him in a text message.
She went on to star in TV shows including Holby City, Cold Blood, and Heartbeat, before joining Hollyoaks as Maxine Minniver in 2012.
Tracy starred in Corrie from 1995 to 2003, and married butcher Ashley Peacock.
But she became a victim of evil Richard Hillman who brutally murdered her, leaving Ashley devastated when he discovered her body.
