Reality TV icon Nikki Grahame will be remembered this evening (April 7) in a moving documentary which is set to air on Channel 4. 'Nikki Grahame: Who Is She?', a documentary with a title that plays on Nikki's most famous line, will be shown at 9pm, and will pay tribute to the beloved late star.
On April 9, 2021, Nikki sadly passed away after a three-decade-long battle with anorexia nervosa. The star, who was 38 when she died, had been very vocal about her struggles with the eating disorder, which she first started showing symptoms of when she was just eight years of age.
Tonight's programme features raw interviews with Nikki's loved ones, including her mother, Sue, and one of her closest friends, Carly Cunningham. Carly became friends with Nikki when they were both very young and receiving treatment at the same facility, Metro.co.uk reports.

Sue Grahame believes that Big Brother played a huge role in saving her daughter's life. Nikki entered the famous Big Brother House back in 2006, during the reality show's seventh series, and when she left after being evicted, Sue said it was as if 'her fortunes turned around'.
She reflected: "I think Big Brother played quite a role in saving Nikki’s life. I really do.
"When I’d seen Nikki so sick and close to death on many occasions, it’s like her whole fortunes turned around. From now on, she was going to be alright, you know?
"She suddenly came alive, I mean it introduced her to a totally different world out there. She was so busy."
When Nikki was eventually evicted from the Big Brother House, it was clear that she was nervous to face the crowd outside, who were incredibly excited to get a glimpse of the bubbly star. As the famous doors opened, revealing an anxious Nikki at the top of the stairs, she burst into tears, as fans below screamed and chanted her name.
Carly also believes that being on Big Brother was a positive thing for Nikki. She said: "I don’t feel like she felt very accepted by people ever in her life.
"And she finally felt, 'I’m accepted. And this is for me and not my illness.' That was everything to Nikki."
Before her untimely death nearly a year ago, Nikki's friends had organised a fundraising page online, to try and raise money for the TV star to receive treatment at a specialist facility for anorexia. Tens of thousands of pounds were raised for Nikki, which shows just how loved she truly was by the public.
After Nikki passed away, the money was used to cover the costs of her funeral, with the rest being donated to those living with eating disorders.
Nikki Grahame: Who Is She? airs tonight, April 7, on Channel 4 at 9pm.
