Bristol City have made Kal Naismith their second summer signing. The versatile defender has signed a three-year contract at Ashton Gate.
The 30-year-old was a key player in Luton Town's run to the Championship play-offs this season, making 45 appearances in all competitions and chipping in with three goals and eight assists.
The Hatters wanted Naismith to stay at Kenilworth Road, but he has become Nigel Pearson's second signing since the end of the season after the Robins landed Mark Sykes from Oxford United.
"It feels great to get it done and it feels brilliant to be here," Naismith told the club's website. "It's a huge club and I'm just massively excited to be a part of it."
"We wanted to get it done quickly so I can enjoy time off with my family, and ultimately look forward and know where I'm going to be, come the start of the season.
"There is everything here for this club to be successful on the pitch and ultimately it's up to the players and everyone to give everything every day and always try to get better day-in-day-out. I believe if we do that it will stand us in good stead."
