Legendary Welsh referee Owens is renowned for his quips to players on the field, and his moment with Robshaw is up there with the most memorable.
Robshaw attempted to change Owens' mind on a decision during an England v France Six Nation match, drawing attention to a separate incident.
Owens explained himself but Robshaw was persistent. Cue a stern look from Owens, and the iconic line: "Christopher!"
To which Robshaw replied: "Sorry sir."
The whole scenario is reminiscent of a teacher and student at school, and it went completely viral at the time.
After the former Harlequins man announced his retirement from rugby on Friday morning, Owens took the opportunity to bid farewell.
It has been uploaded many times in the (almost) eight years since the incident, and has continued to be a popular video on social media.
The clip has racked up 1.6m views across Guinness Six Nations' channels and has been watched more than a million times on TikTok this year.
Having played for Harlequins between 2005 and 2020, Robshaw finished his career in America, playing for San Diego Legion, with whom he played alongside All Black great Ma'a Nonu.
To mark his retirement, Robshaw has set up a charity with his wife Camilla called the 'Kerslake Robshaw Foundation' to help disadvantaged young people through music and sport.
