The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service has issued a stark warning after a blaze involving e-bike battery charging.
In an awareness post on Saturday on social media, officers highlighted the potential dangers with electrical appliances in the home, after a fire broke out in a local property.
Crews from Westland, Whitla and Central attended the incident, which saw substantial damage.

A NIFRS spokesperson said: "Thankfully on this occasion no one was injured. Please, never ever leave devices unattended when being charged. Make sure your property has working smoke alarms. For further advice on fire safety please check our website."
The public can avail of a Home Fire Safety Check, with the NI Fire and Rescue Service, which entails a visit to your home to provide advice on how to stay safe from fire.
Each visit is carried out by at least two staff from NIFRS who will be wearing NIFRS uniform and will carry a NIFRS photographic identification card. During the visit they will either fit a smoke alarm or show the occupier how to test their existing smoke alarm, explain the potential fire risks in the home, provide fire safety advice and explain the importance of having a night time fire safety routine and a fire escape plan.
The NIFRS website reads: "The visit will take up to 40 minutes. Sometimes it is useful for a family member, friend, neighbour or care worker to also be present so that they can assist with the advice."
