Nicole Shanahan, who was once Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s running mate, has issued a stern warning to senators who oppose Kennedy's confirmation as the next secretary of health and human services. Shanahan, the former wife of Google billionaire Sergey Brin, made her stance clear in an Instagram video where she emphasized her significant campaign donations to Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff of Georgia in 2020.

In the video, Shanahan stated that she will be closely monitoring the voting decisions of these senators and others, threatening to take action if they vote against Kennedy's confirmation. She specifically mentioned that she will work towards ensuring that those who oppose Kennedy lose their seats in the Senate, particularly emphasizing the impact on America's children's health.

Shanahan further warned senators from both parties that she will not hesitate to fund challengers to primary them in the next election if they vote against Kennedy. She also mentioned her intention to rally support from hundreds of thousands of individuals to join her cause.

These remarks from Shanahan come at a time when concerns have been raised by Democrats regarding the influence of billionaires and individuals with extreme wealth in shaping political agendas. Some have drawn parallels between the support received by President Donald Trump from wealthy backers and the concept of oligarchy.
