Nicole Scherzinger has proved a hit with Coronation Concert viewers, with many rushing to social media to praise the American singer following her performance at Windsor Castle this evening.
The Pussycat Dolls singer belted out a sensational rendition of Disney’s Mulan theme, much to the delight of viewers watching on the BBC at home.
"Didn’t know that Nicole Scherzinger could sing like that, fair play #CoronationConcert," one tweeted following the star's performance, with another adding: "Nicole Scherzinger has serious pipes and never gets enough credit for it! #CoronationConcert."
A third declared: "Nicole is smashing it out of the park!!!! #CoronationConcert."
One cheeky viewer joked: "Waiting for Nicole to rip off the dress and give us Buttons #CoronationConcert."
Prior to taking to the stage at Windsor Castle this evening, Nicole revealed she was busy gearing up for her performance as she showcased herself trying on a number of different dresses for the state-funded Coronation celebrations.
The Club Banger Nation singer, 44, said she felt like a princess as she tried on a number of different dazzling gowns including a black sequin one-shoulder frock and a feathered white gown.
But the singer didn't let slip which dress she was planning to wear for the special performance, and instead, asked her Instagram followers if they could guess which dress she finally decided on.
"Feeling like an absolute princess at my fitting for the King’s #CoronationConcert this weekend! Can you guess what dress I chose? Tune in to BBC One Sunday 7th May from 8pm to find out," Nicole wrote alongside her video on Instagram earlier today.
While Nicole jumped at the chance to perform for the newly crowned King Charles and his family, many legendary British singers snubbed the chance to belt out at tune at the Coronation Concert this evening.
Honourary Brit Kylie Minogue was reportedly asked to perform but turned down the chance to wow the crowd with her hit songs, due to the huge republican sentiment in her home country of Australia.
British superstars including Elton John, the Spice Girls, Adele, Harry Styles, Robbie Williams and Ed Sheeran are all said to have also declined the offer from Buckingham Palace.
Thankfully for the Royal Family, Take That, Olly Murs and Paloma Faith all agreed to represent the country and play alongside American stars Nicole, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.
