While lockdown has meant baggy tops, trackie bottoms and slouchy hoodies for many of us, the distinct lack of social events hasn’t stopped Nicole Scherzinger from getting glammed up.
The 42-year-old took to TikTok to show off a geek-to-chic transformation, first appearing in the video with her hair in a messy bun, big glasses and a Nicole-embroidered dressing gown.
Mouthing along to CEO of Beauty Mode by MarkyMarx, the Pussycat Dolls frontwoman said: “What the hell is beauty mode? What does this do?”
The video then shows Scherzinger looking gorgeous with her long, dark tresses artfully tousled, wearing glittering eyeshadow and a nude lip-gloss.
“Oh damn!” she mouthed as she ran her fingers through her hair.
The video is part of TikTok’s ‘beauty mode’ challenge, which sees users posting before and after clips in quick succession.
It’s one of several TikTok challenges that Scherzinger has taken on since she first signed up to the social media platform in March, having previously tried out the Blinding Lights challenge as well as several exercise routines with boyfriend Thom Evans.
Scherzinger met the former rugby player, 35, when he starred in The X Factor: Celebrity in October last year, and the couple have been going from strength to strength ever since.
The pair celebrated Scherzinger’s 42nd birthday earlier this week, sharing a series of loved-up snaps on Instagram.
“Very grateful to have you in my life,” Evans wrote on Instagram.
Elsewhere, Scherzinger wrote: “Another year older never felt so good!
“Thank you all for the birthday wishes. Your love and gratitude made my heart full. I’m so blessed!"
