Nicole Kidman 's latest photoshoot for Vanity Fair has certainly got the internet talking.
The actress, 54, bared her toned torso for the publication's annual Hollywood issue, a special edition released to celebrate famous faces who have been recognised for breaking boundaries in Tinseltown.
Nicole joins fellow stars Idris Elba, Penelopé Cruz, Kristen Stewart, Benedict Cumberbatch, Simu Liu, Andrew Garfield and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez on a collection of covers for the monthly magazine's latest release.
For her solo shoot, the Moulin Rouge actress looked stunning in a skimpy two-piece Miu Miu co-ord - showing off her enviable figure as she posed alongside some yellow gates and a backdrop of the famous Hollywood sign.
While the mum-of-four undoubtedly looks beautiful in the images, some have accused Vanity Fair of using photoshop on the picture's of the star.
Suspecting Nicole's image had been digitally tinkered with, one fan took to Twitter to ask: "Nicole has a great body, and that’s not her body. Her shape is not like that at all. Why they have to Photoshop?"
"The way they photoshopped her body literally feeling triggered," another tweeted, with a third adding: "Why Vanity Fair decided to ruin Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz with all this photoshop?"
Chris Spargo mused: "What part of Nicole Kidman’s already incredible body shall we over photoshop this year to convey our respect for her as an actress?"
Others took issue with Nicole's styling and outfit choices for the shoot.
"We on Twitter need to stop what we are doing, come together, and kill whoever styled Nicole Kidman like this," read one tweet on Thursday, with another fan adding: "Whoever approved this cover should be ashamed. Straight to jail."
Some fans did actually approve of the divisive cover, with a few spotting what could be a nod to one of the star's past acting roles.
"Nicole Kidman looks awesome I love the cover and the same like she did when she played Joanna in Stepford wives but more beautiful," wrote one supporter on Twitter.
Another agreed, adding: "you guys let nicole kidman's stepford wives flop and now look at her vanity fair shoot... she truly was ahead of her time."
In the accompanying interview for the controversial cover, Nicole revealed she ended up battling an illness after becoming immersed in one of her critically-acclaimed roles.
The star is nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress this year, for her much-praised performance as Lucille Ball in Being The Riccardos.
Speaking to Vanity Fair about how she got into character, the Oscar nominee revealed how she fell ill after filming wrapped, due to fooling her immune system into thinking that her own character's suffering was real.
"Parts of the body don't know, a lot of the time, what the difference is between a role and real life," Nicole explained.
"I've started to understand a bit more to take care of yourself."
* The Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue is available via digital download and on newsstands on Friday 25 February.
