Nicolas Raskin could be back on the pitch 'soon' according to his national side boss.
The young Belgian was forced to withdraw from representing his country following an injury suffered at Rangers. Michael Beale revealed the club had some concern, but nothing major, of new boy Raskin who has impressed fans since arriving in Glasgow. The former Standard Liege man posted a message on social media to admit he was gutted to be missing out on playing for his nation.
Raskin has hopes of breaking in to the senior squad and previously claimed he wanted to use his Ibrox 'fame' to impress. And Under21s boss Jacky Mathijssen is a big fan of the Rangers midfielder and admits he will be a miss. But he did offer a hopeful update on Raskin's injury journey alongside talk of long-term absentee Yari Verschaeren.

He said: "I hope to see Nicolas again soon on the pitch."
He added: "These are two players [Raskin and Yari Verschaeren] who helped us a lot in qualifying and who are multifunctional in any system and in several positions."
