Nicolas Cage is a dad again after wife Riko Shibata gives birth to a baby girl.
It is the actor's third child and artist Riko's first. Nicolas also has two sons, Kal-El, 16, and Weston, 31, from previous relationships.
The sweet news was confirmed by the couple's representatives, who told PEOPLE : "Nicolas and Riko are happy to announce the birth of their daughter. Mother and daughter are doing fine."
While the child's name is yet to be made official, the publication says they have named her August Francesca Coppola Cage.
Nicolas, 58, revealed in March that he and his fifth wife Riko, 28, were keen to honour his father with their choice of name for the tot. In an interview with GQ at the time, the Pig actor said they had picked out Augie if they were to have a baby girl: "Augie was my father's nickname," he said.
And he backed that decision up in a chat with Kelly Clarkson a month later as he called the news "the biggest adventure of my life".
Nicolas, who is also a grandfather, has been gushing with pride since news first broke in January that the pair were expecting their first kid together.
He told Access Hollywood earlier in the year he was "extremely excited" at the thought of being a dad again, saying: "My boys are all grown up, and I miss going to the toy store. I miss singing lullabies and rocking in the rocking chair.
"I'm looking forward to getting back to that."
Nicolas and Riko tied the knot last February in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas. They honoured his late father's birthday by saying "I Do" at the Wynn Hotel in Sin City on February 16.
During their ceremony, Riko sported a handmade black Bridal Kimono while Nicolas donned a black tuxedo with a yellow rose buttonhole which matched his wife's bouquet.
The pair met in Japan in 2020 when the Hollywood star was filming Sion Sono's Prisoners Of Ghostland. Riko played one of the four Mannequin Women in the production.
They got engaged shortly after over FaceTime before exchanging their vows. It was the actor's fifth time down the aisle, following failed marriages to Patricia Arquette, Lisa Marie Presley, Alice Kim and Erica Koike.
