FIRST Minister Nicola Sturgeon will appear at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer, taking part in a “grilling” over her independence plan from LBC’s Iain Dale.
The presenter’s “All Talk” show will see him put questions to the SNP leader, who made her Fringe debut with Dale just three years ago.
This year Dale is also set to interview the likes of Rory Stewart, Keir Starmer, Ruth Davidson, Jeremy Corbyn and Arlene Foster during his Fringe stay.
Sturgeon’s appearance will take place on August 10 at the EICC’s Pentland Suite.
Dale was excited to announce the appearance, saying: “This is the Fringe interview everyone wanted.
"I’ve been in negotiations with Nicola Sturgeon’s office for several months but I’m delighted to have finally pulled it off.
"We have a huge venue and I look forward to grilling the First Minister about the road to an independence referendum, what really motivates her and how she copes with the pressures and brickbats that the job throws at her every day.
“I will also devote a significant amount of time to questions from the audience.”
Tickets are priced at £14/£15 and can be purchased here.
