Nicola Sturgeon has always been a believer in independence - but she declared it in song today.
The First Minister did her best to join in with a folk group playing a lively rendition of The Monkees classic in Dalkeith.
The SNP leader slapped a guitar and managed some of the words on her latest musical interlude on the campaign trail .

In the last few days, Sturgeon has been country dancing with campaigners in Dumfries.
And she also danced in the streets with children in Edinburgh to the Pharrell Williams hit Happy.
The SNP has targeted the Midlothian seat, currently held by Labour's Danielle Rowley, as a possible gain in next month's general election .
Sturgeon clearly enjoys her tuneful approach to political campaigning.
She tweeted: “My #GE2019 musical theme continues…and if you were thinking I can’t dance, just wait ‘til you hear my singing!”
