Nicola Sturgeon's sister, Gillian, posted a cryptic message after the former First Minister was arrested on Sunday morning.
Not long after Nicola, 52, was taken into custody her younger sibling posted a picture which read: "Sometimes there are no words."
Many were quick to link the image with her sister's arrest. Police Scotland announced that they had taken the former First Minister in for questioning.

This is amongst the ongoing probe into the funding and finances of the SNP, reports the Daily Record. As the investigation is ongoing police say they are unable to comment further.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 52-year-old woman has today, Sunday, June 11, 2023, been arrested as a suspect in connection with the ongoing investigation into the funding and finances of the Scottish National Party.
"The woman is in custody and is being questioned by Police Scotland detectives.
"A report will be sent to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service.
She has been released without charging pending further investigation. The former first minister’s arrest comes after her husband and former SNP chief executive Peter Murrell was arrested in April.
MSP Colin Beattie, who was the party's treasurer at the time, was also arrested as part of the investigation.
Both men were released without charge pending further inquiry.
