NICOLA Sturgeon has revealed the title and release date of her highly anticipated memoirs.
The former first minister took to Instagram on Wednesday to make the announcement, as pre-orders for the book opened.
Sturgeon said her book's title sums up its content – as she has named it Frankly.
In a video, the former SNP chief said: "Hi. I have some news today which I am thrilled to share with you ... the cover and title of my memoir which will be published on August 14.
"I have poured my heart into this book. It tells the story of my personal journey. It recounts the extraordinary events that I have been privileged to live and to lead through.
"It takes you behind the scenes of the incredible experiences I've had along the way. And my interactions with some colourful characters.

"So here it is. Frankly. I can't wait for you to read it. And it's available for pre-order now."
The title may also be a reference to the late Janey Godley, whose humorous voice-overs of Sturgeon's Covid updates would end with her saying "Frank, get the door".
Sturgeon and Godley were friends, even teaming up for an STV charity sketch in 2020.
The funeral of the comedian was brought to a close with the famous "Frank, get the door" catchphrase last year.
Signed copies of Sturgeon's debut book are available to pre-order from a number of retailers here.
