Nicola Peltz 'stormed off crying in middle of wedding over tribute to Victoria Beckham'

Nicola Peltz-Beckham reportedly "stormed off" in the middle of her wedding reception and was "crying her eyes out" because of a speech made in tribute her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham.

The actor, 27, tied the knot with Brooklyn Beckham, 23, earlier this year in a ceremony that was attended by guests including his parents Victoria, 48, and David Beckham, 47.

There have been rumours of a feud between Nicola and her mother-in-law since the nuptials in April, and it's even been claimed that there was tension at the wedding.

A source has alleged that the bride even ended up "crying her eyes out" at one point during the reception, which was held for the couple at an estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

A source told the Daily Mail that Nicola was offended by a speech that is said to have been given at the wedding by singer Marc Anthony, 53 – who is a close friend of David's.

The speech has been described as "gushing" and the outlet said it was "all about" Victoria. The source said: "It was totally just an ode to Victoria and how awesome she is. "

They said that Nicola enjoys being the centre of attention and had especially wanted that for her wedding day, adding that the bride was "really p****ed off" over the speech.

The source further commented about her: "She stormed off in the middle of her wedding reception with [her sister] Brittany and her mom, and was crying her eyes out."

Another source agreed that Nicola was upset during the reception but claimed that it was instead over her mother-in-law having 'stolen' the newlyweds' first dance song.

They said Victoria 'stole' their song for her own mother and son dance, reportedly just moments before Brooklyn and Nicola had been meant to take to the dancefloor.

The outlet reports that the couple's first dance was meant to be to You Sang to Me, which is a love song that was released by Grammy Award winning singer Marc in 2000.

It has however been reported in recent months that the newlyweds danced to Can't Help Falling in Love – released by Elvis Presley in 1961 – for their first dance.

A source said that Marc, who reportedly performed at the wedding, had asked the couple to pick a song to dedicate to them and You Sang to Me was their "favourite".

They claimed that the bride left the room because it was thought that he was going to introduce the newlyweds for a special dance to the love song that they had chosen.

The source however claimed: "But without any warning and at the request of Victoria, Marc switched it to a mother-son dance using the same song".

Guests are said to have been able to tell "something off had happened" and the source said it was "uncomfortable" for the newlyweds who thought it was a special moment for them.

The Mirror approached reps for Nicola Peltz-Beckham, Victoria Beckham and Marc Anthony for comment.
