Nicola Peltz has finally explained what went down in the lead-up to mother-in-law Victoria Beckham ghosting her over her wedding dress.
The model, 27, became embroiled in a rumoured feud with husband Brooklyn's mother as they planned their wedding.
She tied the knot with Brooklyn back in April wearing a couture Valentino dress— but the initial plan was for her to wear a specially-made dress designed by Victoria.
The Spice Girl, 47, was on a group text chat with the actresses, her stylist and her mom but Peltz said the conversation fell silent before she later heard from her mom what had happened.
Peltz explained how her mom had a phone call from Victoria — possibly as she knew she was busy on set filming — and explained her 'atelier couldn't make the dress in time'.
The American actress told in the interview how she had been 'really excited to wear her dress' and tried to ignore reports at the time which made her 'sad' but found them unable to ignore as they were 'in her face'.
She said Victoria's decision left her 'regrouping' and as a 'fan of Valentino' she considers herself lucky to be able to travel to [the atelier] to try on the dress.
Addressing rumours head-on she told The Times: "But the real truth is, I really, really wanted to wear it and I thought it was so beautiful that Brooklyn's mom got to make that for me! And I was really excited to wear it! And I didn't end up wearing it."
She signed off the issue adding: "That’s really what happened.''
Nicola and Brooklyn tied the knot at a no-expense-spared ceremony earlier this year, which was held at the heiress' lavish family estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
And throughout the so called 'family feud' her man Brooklyn was happy to state on the record where his loyalties lie.
Brooklyn told at the time: "To be honest, my wife is obviously my first priority and I never want to see her upset ever,' he said. 'We have each other’s back 100 per cent and we just move on together.''
And the pair still appear on cloud nine as the budding chef shared several snaps of the couple together and said he 'could not live this life' without Nicola.
He wrote: 'Can't believe it's been 3 years, I feel like I have known you my whole life. Happy anniversary to my other half, my best friend, and to my gorgeous wife x could not live this life without you."
