TV personality Nicola McLean has revealed that she gives her son 10 chocolate eggs for Easter, adding that she doesn't "restrict" food so there's nothing stopping him from eating them all in one day.
The former I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here contestant appeared on Good Morning Britain as co-hosts Kate Garraway and Adil Ray discussed whether Easter eggs should carry health warnings as some contain up to 3,000 calories.
As Kate introduced Nicola, 40, she read off the auto-cue :"Nicola McLean who gives her son 10!" She then exclaimed: "Nicola!" as Adil could be heard off-camera saying: "10!"

Kate continued: "The Easter Bunny in your house is wonderful." To which Nicola replied: "Yeah, I do, I like them to come down and be really happy so one Easter egg is not going to make anyone really happy.
"I like it to be a bit grand, I like to see my kids happy, so for one day a year let them eat eggs."
She went on to defended herself by saying her children are "so active" that they can have 10 eggs one day a year, OK reports. Nicola said: "My kids both play football they're so active, so they can have them one day a year."
"One day a year, what you're having a relay? Get up on Sunday and one egg after the other?" the weight loss coach, Steve Miller added. To which Nicola replied: "Yeah of course!"
He clarified: "10 eggs in a day?"
"Well if they wanted to eat 10 eggs in a day, absolutely!" Nicola exclaimed.
He interjected: "10,000 calories for a child in the day."
"But they wouldn’t, that’s the thing," Nicola continued. "Because it's not a forbidden fruit. My children can have anything they like within moderation, they both do a lot of sport, they're both very active.
"But if they wanted to, I'd have absolutely no problem with it, it's one day a year."
ITV viewers took to Twitter to discuss their shock at Nicola's stance, one user posted: "@GMB children whose parents can't afford 10 eggs would be happy with 1 egg. Ridiculous!!!"
As another added: "Clearly a mom that can afford anything compared to most average families that can't buy fresh fruit or veg and Easter eggs, the eggs are so much cheaper."
A third stated in concern: "10 Easter Eggs! Your children must be jumping off the walls with the sugar."
Many viewers were also "outraged" that the debate was being given "air time" as no one ever thought that chocolate Easter eggs were "healthy". One person said: "The Easter Egg police! One day a year that kids should be allowed to enjoy their treat! And as a society we wonder why we have eating disorders!"
"We know an Easter egg is not like eating an apple… on one day a year, that's the whole point! Having a warning on an Easter egg is ridiculous," a second wrote. Another added: "A large chocolate egg might be bad for you? Mild shock."
