Derry Girls icon and Bridgerton baddie Nicola Coughlan has sparked dating rumours with British actor Jake Dunn after the pair were papped canoodling at London’s Points East festival.
Yep, that’s right. It looks like our lord and saviour Ms Coughlan has seemingly been cuffed up and we’re here for it!
Now, with every celebri-tea story, we must always remind ourselves to take it with a grain of salt. Neither Nicola, 37, nor Jake, 24, have confirmed any dating rumours and right now we’ve only got some flirty piccies.

Like we said, Nicola nor Jake have flat-out hard launched their rumoured relationship.
However what we do know (or can assume) is that the pair had some flirty-fun time at London’s Points East festival, which took place last weekend.
In a plethora of paparazzi pic, the actors were spotted dancing, holding each other and laughing together.

This isn’t the first time Nicola and Jake have been spotted together. The pair were also pictured together alongside Jake’s Renegade Nell co-star Alice Kremelberg in March.
The picture has since been reposted by a Bridgerton fan page (@bridgerton.fans.arg) on Instagram.
The new photos emerged a couple of months after Nicola was rumoured to be dating Australian actor Eamonn Farren who she worked with on Big Mood.
Rumours of a romance first brewed in June 2024 when an insider told DeuxMoi that the duo had been spotted with Irish Claddagh rings.
“The Claddagh ring is known for symbolising love, loyalty and friendship, depending on how its worn,” an anonymous insider wrote.
The duo have also been spotted on each other’s social media and comments.

But just like Jake and Nicola, these two peas in a pod never confirmed if their relationship was more than just mates.

Jake Dunn is a film producer and actor who is mostly known for his role as Thomas Blancheford in Disney’s Renegade Nell.

Jake has also shared the screen with another Derry Girls actor, Dylan Llewellyn, in two episodes of Big Boys.
If they were really in a relationship, could that mean that the red string theory is a legit thing? You know, that theory where people are tied by a “string of fate” and will eventually meet each other at one point in their lives.
