Nicola Bulley's loved ones have launched a fresh campaign on Facebook in a bid to renew efforts to find out what happened to the missing mum-of-two.
More than two weeks on since Nicola vanished while out on a walk with her dog in St Michael's on Wyre, police are continuing their search as they investigate "all possible leads" into her disappearance. Now the 45-year-old's friends and family have urged members of the public to "turn Facebook yellow" in the hope that it will encourage any witnesses to come forward with information that could prove crucial.
The 'Bring Nikki Home' campaign encourages Facebook users to add a yellow logo to their Facebook profile pictures. Nicola's friend Emma White wrote on her own Facebook page: "The search is ongoing for that vital piece of information to find Nikki. What we have is love and strength driven from the hope, please share the love and #bringnikkihome – turning Facebook yellow."

The effort has also seen well-wishers tie yellow ribbons to a bridge over the River Wyre, leaving heartfelt messages of hope that Nicola will be found. The Bring Nikki Home campaign invites people across the country to "tie a yellow ribbon in your community, to unite hope".
It comes after Nicola's partner Paul Ansell spoke to Channel 5's Dan Walker on Friday about the family's nightmare ordeal. Paul said he is personally "100% convinced" that Nicola did not fall into the river, after police and forensics teams have spent several days carrying out thorough searches in the water.
Lancashire Police reiterated their belief on Friday that Nicola "may have fallen into the river for some reason", but the force added that they are "keeping an open mind" about what may have happened to the missing mortgage advisor. They emphasised that there is currently "absolutely nothing" to suggest any third-party involvement in her disappearance.
Nicola was last seen at approximately 9.10am on January 27 by someone who knows her walking her dog in the upper field in St Michael's. Her phone was found at around 9.33am on a bench by the river, with dog Willow safe and dry nearby. Anyone with information or footage is asked to submit information through the Major Incident Public Portal (MiPP) at Public Portal (mipp.police.uk).
