Nico Raskin makes Rangers starting XI as Michael Beale names line-up for semi-final

Rangers manager Michael Beale has named his starting XI for this afternoon's Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic.

The two Glasgow rivals will go head-to-head at Hampden with the Ibrox boss looking to seal his first victory in the derby.

A final against Inverness Caledonian Thistle awaits for the winning side.

Allan McGregor starts in between the sticks this afternoon for Rangers, while Connor Goldson returns to the line-up at the expense of John Souttar in central defence, where he will partner Ben Davies.

Ibrox skipper James Tavernier takes up his usual position at right-back and Croatia internationalist Borna Barisic will fill in on the other side of the defence.

January signings Nico Raskin and Todd Cantwell hold onto their places in midfield, and while John Lundstram also starts again in midfield.

Ryan Kent, who has missed Rangers' two previous fixtures through injury, is back in the team, while Bayern Munich loanee Malik Tillman has been given the nod to start.

Beale has opted for Alfredo Morelos to lead the attack against Celtic, with Fashion Sakala settling for a place on the bench.
