Nicky Devlin appears to have officially completed a move to Aberdeen, as pictures show the defender signing his Pittodrie contract.
The right-back has captained Livingston this season but Record Sport revealed earlier this month that he was closing in on a move to joining Barry Robson's Reds revolution. Hearts were also keen on the former Walsall player but he appeared close to Pittodrie, and new photos have brought that notion forward.
An image on social media shows the Livingston skipper in front of the boards where Robson usually conducts his pre-match press conferences alongside agent Martin Reilly and a pen in hand as he appears to signing on the dotted line. David Martindale's side still have three games to play this term but are stuck in the bottom six and have lost their first two matches post-split against Ross County and Kilmarnock, with their Premiership form in freefall after missing out on the top half.
Robson's side meanwhile have a mega match with Hearts at Tynecastle this Saturday. A win for Aberdeen would put one foot into European football next season.
Devlin would also come into Aberdeen’s thinking as a home-grown player when it comes to European squads. Aberdeen are also in talks with Go Ahead Eagles defender Jay Izdes.
The 29-year-old will move to Aberdeen on a long-term contract in the summer. Terms have been agreed this week and Devlin is likely to replace Ross McCrorie who is a summer target for Bristol City.
