Newcastle United goalie Nick Pope is already eyeing the crunch clash against Brighton & Hove Albion in front of a sold out St James' Park on Thursday night. Depending on Liverpool's result against Leicester City on Monday night, a win on Thursday could seal the Magpies' Champions League place next season.
Pope was the star for United at Elland Road as he saved a penalty in a sliding doors moment against Leeds. Had Patrick Bamford sent him the wrong way, Leeds would have been 2-0 up and United's Champions League chances could have been in the balance.
But the England stopper kept out then went on to make some key stops in the 2-2 draw. He now wants to move on and said after the game to reporters: "That's the plan, the fans have been right behind us all season. They have been great for us home and away all season.

"Hopefully the home atmosphere on Thursday will be something special. We need to make the most of it."
Pope stated that the draw at Leeds was simply one of the twists of the season. He said: "You are going to have ups and downs. Moments you are happy with. Leeds make it difficult and they make it difficult for every team. We tried to put our own stamp on the game but it is always a tough game there."
