Nick Foles is not only special in Philly. The Eagles’ Super Bowl MVP quarterback is pretty talented at PickleBall.
Foles won a pair of gold medals in the PPA finals in San Clemente, CA, last weekend.
He played alongside his wife Tori in one event, and friend Jim Davenport, in the other.
“There are plenty of shots where you dink it into the net, and there’s nothing more demoralizing than doing that, but you’ve got to move on and play the next point and just hit the next shot,” he told pickleball.com. “You get a lot of those plays that you want back, but you have to move forward.”
Former Super Bowl champion wide receiver Golden Tate also competed in the men’s 4.5 doubles division, according to the site.
