Nick Chubb unthinkably squatted almost 600 pounds just 8 months after his frightening knee injuries

Nick Chubb’s disastrous knee injuries suffered last NFL season weren’t supposed to be a death sentence for his career. We do live in modern times with modern medicine, after all. He also happened to have the Cleveland Browns’ vast array of resources at his disposal during his recovery.

Even still, watching the star running back seemingly pick up right where he left off strength-wise remains mind-boggling. Call it a hunch, but an average formerly injured person is probably not crushing it in the gym like Chubb is right now.

In a new Instagram video, Chubb is shown, once again, squatting nearly 600 pounds. And once again, thanks to the tsunami bar on his shoulders, he makes the weight almost look like spaghetti as it contracts while he lowers his squat.

It’s mind-boggling to watch, even when you don’t consider that Chubb suffered traumatic leg injuries barely a year ago:

Chubb is a four-time Pro Bowler in the prime of his career who looked like he might have to put those days behind him. After seeing this squat, don’t be shocked to see the star running back plow through defenses this season as if nothing ever happened.
