Nick Cannon has said that he "f***s up all the time" when it comes to the mothers of his children, with him further discussing having once mixed up two Mother's Day cards.
The presenter, 42, has fathered a dozen children with six different women, with the comedian a parent to kids who range in ages from six months old up to 12 years old.
He spoke about the complexity of the situation whilst on a podcast recently, suggesting that he isn't necessarily always able to fulfill everyone's needs simultaneously.
This was discussed on the Language of Love podcast, which Nick and host Dr. Laura Berman recalled an instance where he was expected to be present for two of his kids.
He suggested that juggling both situations may have left one of the mothers feeling like she wasn't being prioritised, with Dr. Laura suggesting it can be difficult for them.
Nick said: "I f*** up all the time! And my f***-ups usually are because just of like malpractice. [...] Being a dumb man. I didn't do what I said I was going to do, I forgot to call or was late."
Dr. Laura then suggested that an example was him sending a Mother's Day card to the wrong person, with Nick continuing the conversation by saying: "I do dumb s***".
He went on to discuss the card mix-up, explaining during the episode of the podcast: "I try to write handwritten, thoughtful Mother's Day cards and they get switched up."
Dr. Laura suggested that his personalised cards came after one mother shared that she didn't want to get the same words or flowers as the mothers of his other children.
Nick added: "So I said 'okay I'm gonna do individual [ones]' and look where it got me. Switched up the damn cards and sent one Mother's Day card [to the wrong person]."
The rapper said he made the situation "even more gut-wrenching" by talking about it publicly, having mentioned it on his radio show The Daily Cannon last month.
He followed-up on the episode - which was released earlier this month - by teasing about himself, with the comedian commenting to Dr. Laura: "I'm the comedy of errors".
A teaser for the episode read: "[Dr. Laura sits] down with Nick as he dispels myths, exposes us to some of the life and love lessons he's learned along the way, and sets the record straight."
